PINE RIDGE BLUEGRASS &
FOLKLORE SOCIETY

Promoting the enjoyment of Bluegrass music
in the Durham Region

 


Join us at our monthly picking sessions!

Where:   Woodview Community Centre
               151 Cadillac Avenue North
               Oshawa, Ontario

When:    One Sunday of each month, except July & August (see schedule below)
              1:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m.

Cost:      $2.00 for members, $4.00 for non-members
               Yearly membership $20.00

Activities:    Picking, singing, jamming, performing and listening.
                    Musicians, beginners and listeners of all ages are welcome.
                    Snacks and cold drinks available.
                   
Family atmosphere.

What to bring:   
             Acoustic instruments suitable for playing Bluegrass (electric bass allowed)
             Voices, lyrics, etc.

 

How to get there:

Exit Highway 401 at Ritson Road. Drive north on Ritson to King Street (Highway 2). Drive east on King to Cadillac Avenue. Drive north on Cadillac until it turns the corner and becomes Beverly. On the east side of Cadillac, right at the corner, is the Woodview Community Centre.
