What does an Event Steward need?

- for some people, a co-event steward is good - then you have someone else to talk to/to share the duties with
- good communication skills
- a sense of humour
- good people skills
- know how to delegate ( does not attempt to carryout the duties of other key staff - for example is not the Troll or the Butler or the Bar Keeper )
- not afraid to ask questions/advice from previous event stewards
- oversees and coordinates the activities of everyone else involved in running the event
- demonstration of organizational skills
- demonstrates ability to secure volunteers
