We do not sell to the United States for liability insurance reasons.

The prices shown below include a donation to the Ontario Bee Research Fund managed by the Ontario Beekeepers’ Association.

Inspection

• We are inspected and licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Agricultural and Food to sell nucleis and queens.
• We detain a selling permit issued on a yearly basis.
• A copy of this permit is available upon request. Just contact us.

Terms

• We require full prepayment on all orders.
• Payment must reach us at least 6 weeks before scheduled date of shipment.
• We accept check, cash and money order.
• Make check or money order payable to Pilgrim Honey House
• Send payment to 3325 Loch Garry Road, Ontario, K0C 1B0

Shipping

• Shipping must be included in prepayment.
• Dicom Express – Quebec only, where 24-hour service is available.
• Express Post, 1-3 days, depending on your location.
• Priority Post, 1-2 days, depending on your location.
• No shipping charges on Queen Cells, you must pick them up yourself.
• No shipping for Tested and Select Breeders, you must pick them up yourself.

Minimum charge

• Dicom $20
• Express Post $20
• Priority Post $35

Shipping charges vary greatly, depending of location, method and size, therefore we ask that you include the minimum required and we will refund the difference or issue a credit note for future purchase, whichever you prefer.

Insurance

• It is impossible to insure queen shipment.
• Canada Post and Dicom do not accept any responsibility for live animals shipment.

Refund and Replacement Conditions

• All sales orders are final. No refund on cancellation of order, unless we can resell your order to another customer.
• If we delay the order 30 days over the due date, or if we cannot ship at all, we will refund your deposit if you cancel your order.
• If the order was lost by the carrier or arrives later than the guaranty stated by the carrier, we will refund the cost of shipping, only if the carrier agrees to reimburse us.
• We will replace queens lost, damaged or killed during shipping. No refund on the value of queens. You must notify us immediately upon reception. We only replace the number of queens affected, not the entire order.
• We allow only one occurrence for this claim per customer in one season.
• We will ship replacement queens if you wish at a later date of our choice. You must assume the cost of the 2^nd shipping.
• We reserve the right to refuse future sales to any customer who makes repetitive claims.

• We offer discounts to Beekeeping Supplies Companies. Contact us for details.

Certificate and Promise of Quality

We do not offer certificates of purity for Russian Stock, as there are no official agencies qualified for this kind of certification. This kind of service would be reflected in price increase, as this service does not come cheap. We offer you our word of honor that what we offer is, to the best of our knowledge, according to accepted standards of practice in the Bee Breeding Community in North America. Honesty is the best policy and it brings forth fruits in the long term. We do not believe in shortcuts when it comes to breeding bees. We pay close attention to details from beginning to end, be it breeding or queen rearing aspect.
