The Soukup Room 1

Jiri Soukup escaped from the communist Czechoslovakia in 1970, and many of his paintings were either lost, or their present owners are not known. Some of these therefore exist only as slides or images. Where the current owner is known this is shown in [brackets]. He now lives in Richmond, Ontario where he harvests C++ computer code (Code Farms Inc), and hangs his paintings. He and his wife Hana live a very full life, within which his art affords Jiri a relaxation from the software design world. The pieces are in roughly chronological order, starting in the late 1950s in Room1 and Room 2, and (under construction) ending with the most recent work in Room 4.
