Mac comforted Liz over the scene Jamie caused, while Sandy took Cecile out to lunch. Jason nearly recognized Sandy while having lunch with Melissa, who quickly changed the subject. Cecile thought the name sounded familiar when Sandy called himself Alex Sanderson while previously talking to Jason. Jamie took the phone off the hook and fell asleep from sedatives he took. Mac praised Sandy’s work at the Complex and asked what area he’d most like to work in. Despite Ada’s urgings, Mac refused to seek out Rachel to resolve the argument they had about Mitch and Matthew. Melissa admitted to Blaine that she and Sandy had a past, but refused to divulge details. Melissa agreed to ask Sandy to level with Blaine about his past though. Despite Sandy’s best efforts, Jamie missed the board member meeting due to taking sedatives.
