SYNOPSES: 1983


JANUARY 3-7, 1983
Louis' estranged wife, Felicia Gallant, arrived along with her chauffeur, Gil. Ada and Quinn tried to keep Steve from learning that Rachel had financed his business. Before Louis could sell his paintings to Henry, Louis was arrested, Johan and Henry died in a shoot-out, and Albert was arrested. Cecile vowed vengeance on Sandy after learning he used her to get the goods on Louis. Louis hired lawyer Reuben Marino. R.J. refused to squeal on the hoods or discuss Bob's death.

JANUARY 10-14, 1983
Steve walked out after learning Rachel had secretly financed his company. Mac's love for Rachel resurfaced when he learned of Steve and Rachel's tiff. Julia took a job as Felicia's secretary. Stacey asked Elena to testify for Sandy in his custody suit for Maggie. Gil was jealous of Felicia's kissing acquaintance with Cass. Cecile plotted to get her hands on the money in Louis' Swiss bank account. Sandy assured Blaine he still loves her. Stacey was surprised at Jamie and Rachel's interest in Maggie. Cass considered starting his own publishing company with Felicia as his star author. Reuben agreed to legally represent Cecile.

JANUARY 17-21, 1983
Julia decided to date Peter in hopes of making Jamie jealous. Felicia disliked Rachel, who turned down Steve's marriage proposal. Cecile moved in with Louis, leaving Maggie in Elena's care. Mac was upset that Rachel said Steve is her only true love. Reuben realized Cecile is interested only in Louis' money. In court, R.J. blurted out that his thoughtless actions caused Bob's death.

JANUARY 24-28, 1983
Rachel and Jamie kept mum that they think Jamie really fathered Maggie. Rachel finally accepted Steve's marriage proposal. Peter's sister, Donna, fumed that a drunken Peter blurted out that one of the four Love children is illegitimate. Brian proposed to Elena, who confessed that she loves Mac. Cecile and Cass slept together, but Reuben advised her to stay clean for the custody battle. Elena agreed to be executrix of Louis' Swiss millions which will revert to Maggie if he's jailed.

JANUARY 31 - FEBRUARY 4, 1983
Before they could marry, Steve was killed and Rachel blinded in an auto accident. Cecile and Felicia squared off over Louis's fortune. Jamie smooched with Stacey, but was curious about her connection to Mark Singleton. Cass convinced Felicia that she can't get the best publishing deal with Mac. Louis admitted he's guilty and was given three weeks before he must turn himself in to the French authorities. Henrietta agreed to cater a party for newcomer Abel Marsh. Gil apologized that he came on strong with Julia.

FEBRUARY 7-11, 1983
Cecile made sexual demands on Cass, who bedded Felicia after she agreed to a publishing partnership with him. Mac was upset that Rachel, who is in the hospital, rebuffed his help. Stacey was shocked to learn Jamie suspects he fathered Maggie. Blaine laughed that Felicia propositioned Sandy. Mac was miffed that Cass resigned. At Maggie's custody hearing, Reuben blew Sandy, Blaine, and Elena's testimonies to smithereens. Roy and Rachel urged Quinn to run Steve's construction company. Gil asked Quinn for a job and warned Felicia not to fall for Cass.

FEBRUARY 14-18, 1983
Louis left for France after turning against Cecile, who lost Maggie's custody to Sandy. An angry Cecile screamed that Maggie isn't Sandy's child. Blaine had nightmares about Alma. Peter joined Mac's company. Reuben warned Felicia not to sue Elena for Louis' money. Quinn hired Gil when he protected her from an irate employee.

FEBRUARY 21-25, 1983
Rachel returned home but sent Amanda to live with Mac. Cass assured Cecile he's only cosy with Felicia to insure their business success. Donna continued to delve into Sally's past. Jamie warned Cecile she won't get Maggie or the child's trust fund. A judge gave Elena temporary custody of Maggie. A penniless Cecile moved into Elena's guest house. Stacey urged Sandy and Jamie to have blood tests to determine Maggie's paternity. Mac contrived to get Rachel to hire Vivien, who returned. Gil insisted he can support his mother, Marie. Sally rebuffed Gil's passes.

FEBRUARY 28 - MARCH 4, 1983
Felicia warned Cass she won't tolerate him seeing other women, but he secretly bedded Cecile. Mac convinced Sandy to have a blood test. Using an accent, Mac got close to Rachel by posing as hospital administrator John Caldwell. Donna was interested to learn that Mac once loved her mother. Rachel had therapy sessions with Linda Taggert. Larry was pleased R.J. wants to follow in Bob's footsteps and be a cop. Liz was smitten by Mac's British novelist pal, Reggie Fearing.

MARCH 7-11, 1983
Jamie was heartbroken that Sandy got custody of Maggie after blood tests proved Sandy's her father. Stacey agreed to help Quinn adopt Thomasina and locate the girl's aunt, Lily Mason. Jamie admitted he's in love with Stacey. Congressman Mark Singleton reminisced about his past affair with Stacey. At Cass's urging, Felicia asked Julia to write the first drafts of Felicia's future novels. Rachel let John (Mac) help with her blindness therapy.

MARCH 14-18, 1983
Stacey warmed to Jamie's kisses after rebuffing Mark's attempt to renew their old romance. John (Mac) was upset that Rachel can't keep her mind off Steve. Cass asked Stacey for a loan. Stacey levelled with Jamie about her past affair with Mark. Mark's wife, Janet, was seen about town with his campaign manager, Zack Hill. Blaine flipped when her mother, Jeanne, arrived. Henrietta was jealous that Abel has eyes only for Quinn. Quinn gave Gil a company manager's job. Julia concentrated on her writing and fellow college student, Barry.

MARCH 21-25, 1983
At Cecile's suggestion, Cass courted Felicia to cover his affair with Cecile. Lily signed papers so Quinn can adopt Thomasina. Cecile kept mum to police that she received a blackmail tape from Alma, who also sent a tape to Sandy. Before leaving with Jamie for a Swiss eye clinic, Rachel realized she's grown fond of John (Mac). Elena refused to talk marriage with Brian. Janet and Zack schemed to convince Mark to run for a Senate seat. Brian told Donna that she resembles Iris Bancroft.

MARCH 28 - APRIL 1, 1983
Mark told Elena he loves Stacey. Stacey gave Cass a loan. Cecile confided to Cass that she and Alma had schemed against Blaine. Blaine vowed she'd kill Alma, who sent a revenge tape to Sandy. A suspicious Sandy investigated Mark's past. Although Cullen was jailed, Gil kept tabs on Quinn, who worried about mysterious construction site accidents. Henrietta launched her catering business and took an interest in Bay City newcomer, Prince. Ada had bad vibes about Jeanne. Barry smooched with Julia.

APRIL 4-8, 1983
Cecile panicked to realize Alma will try to find Blaine's diary. Quinn's adoption of Thomasina is final. Cass and Cecile continued to see each other behind Felicia's back. Quinn refused Lily's loan request. Stacey tried to sort out her feelings for Jamie and Mark. Peter told Donna to butt out of his life. Vivien unwittingly told Alma where Cecile lives. Julia was put off that Barry is getting too serious about her. Henrietta rebuffed Quinn and R.J.'s warnings that Prince is no good. Blaine and Larry failed to mend old fences with Jeanne. Stacey warned Mark that Sandy is checking out Mark's past.

APRIL 11-15, 1983
Rachel returned and confessed she cares a great deal for John (Mac). Cecile secretly searched the Cory house for Blaine's diary. Jamie was upset to learn Mark rented a cabin near Stacey. Jeanne was impressed by the Cory family wealth. Barry was upset that Julia ignored him and concentrated on writing Felicia's next novel. Mark suspected Zack and Janet hired fake reporter Quintin Mills to start a scandal about Mark and Stacey's old romance. Henrietta was suspicious that Prince asked her to pay his bills.

APRIL 18-22, 1983
Rachel regained her sight and saw that John is really Mac. Donning a blonde wig, Alma took a waitress job to keep tabs on Cecile and Sandy. Jamie's convinced that Stacey still has feelings for Mark. Alma stole Blaine's diary and was almost recognized by Rachel while making her escape. Gil and Peter vied for Sally's attention. Cass rejected Cecile's plea that he kill Alma. Cass conned Felicia into a loan to secretly cover Alma's blackmail demands. Sandy investigated Quintin. Gil offered his alcoholic father, George, a night watchman job. Henrietta refused Prince's loan request. Quinn dated Abel. Student Evan Grant put the make on Julia.

APRIL 25-29, 1983
Alma accepted a partial blackmail payment from Cecile, then threatened to expose Cecile and Cass's affair if she doesn't get more money. Felicia announced her intentions to marry Cass, then moved into his penthouse. Rachel agreed to see Mac socially, and Mac gave Rachel custody of Amanda. Jamie insisted to Stacey he still loves her. Henrietta spent time with Prince, who repaid the loans she gave him. Larry found Alma's fingerprints in Rachel's study.

MAY 2-6, 1983
Cecile gave Alma a blackmail payment and told her how to find Sandy. Sally stalled answering Peter's marriage proposal. Jamie and Stacey argued over Mark. Alma tampered with the brakes on Sandy's car, causing him and Blaine to have a minor accident. Cecile walked in on Cass who was about to strangle Alma. After some coaxing by Zack, Janet told Mark he could have Stacey as his mistress if he returns to politics.

MAY 9-13, 1983
Jamie left town after Stacey said she doesn't love him. Stacey and Mark made love while trapped in his cabin. Quinn posted bail for Lily, who was arrested for prostitution. Elena learned Louis is terminally ill, then told Mac she's leaving to join Louis. Felicia fired Cecile, who prevented Cass from killing Alma. Alma later stalked Sandy with a gun. Janet threatened to name Stacey in a divorce suit unless Mark returns to politics.

MAY 16-20, 1983
With Cecile's consent, Elena took Maggie and left for Paris. Sandy underwent surgery after Alma shot him. Alma was later killed in her motel room. Cass followed Alma to her room to search for Blaine's diary. Cecile fretted that Alma "borrowed" her car after shooting Sandy. Felicia worried over Cass, who kept mum he's involved in the Alma/Cecile fiasco.

MAY 23-27, 1983
The police found Blaine standing over Alma's body. Felicia learned about Blaine's diary. Cass was suspicious of Cecile, who secretly burned the diary. Waitress Maisie Watkins remembered Cass had asked about Alma. Cass remembered seeing Cecile's car at Alma's motel. Henrietta learned Abel has a twin brother, Leo. Brian took Larry off Alma's murder case since Blaine is the main murder suspect. Stacey is unsure about the future of her relationship with Mark. Roy urged Quinn to expand Frame Construction.

MAY 30 - JUNE 3, 1983
Cass denied Felicia's suspicion that he tried to strangle Alma before she was murdered. Rachel made Quinn a full partner in Frame-Harding Construction. Peter and Sally are engaged. Felicia's convinced Alma was blackmailing Cecile, and perhaps Cass. Larry was taken off Alma's murder case and sent to Los Angeles for further police training. Janet named Stacey in a divorce suit against Mark.

JUNE 6-10, 1983
Donna's stepson, Perry Hutchins, arrived on her doorstep. Rachel rightly suspected Cass had tried to strangle Alma. The police proved Blaine didn't kill Alma. Mac and Rachel realized they're still in love. Clarice moved in with Ada after Jeanne accused Clarice of having an affair behind Larry's back. Mac was suspicious when he got an offer to sell Brava after Mark agreed to write his corruption articles for the magazine. Stacey refused to move in with Mark, who got threatening phone calls.

JUNE 13-17, 1983
While Cass was in London on business, Maisie told police she remembered he had questioned her about Alma. Donna encouraged Perry to put the make on Sally, but he's smitten with Julia. Felicia suspected Cecile and Cass are still an item. Mac quizzed attorney Horace Bakewell, but didn't find out who's secretly trying to buy Brava. Marie realized Gil is still in love with Sally, even though he's dating Julia. Quinn and Henrietta were both attracted to Abel's brother, Leo Mars.

JUNE 20-24, 1983
Felicia called Cass in London to warn him that because of Maisie's statement, Cecile was able to finger him as a suspect in Alma's murder. Lily asked Ada's help in kicking the prostitute habit. Clarice refused to move back with Larry because of Jeanne. Gil was jealous Julia dined with Evan. Mark was frustrated by the divorce smear campaign that's causing Stacey to lose clients.

JUNE 27 - JULY 1, 1983
Cass admitted to police he had tried to strangle Alma but insisted he didn't kill her. Cass tipped off police, who found a piece of Blaine's burned diary in Cecile's fireplace. Sally was jealous that Peter lent Cecile a shoulder to cry on at Donna's request. Felicia threw Cass out of her apartment, vowed to ruin his business, then asked Mac to publish her books. Larry, who failed to reconcile with Clarice, was surprised when Jeanne unexpectedly returned to Claxton.

JULY 4-8, 1983
Cecile was arrested for Alma's murder, since Cass has an alibi. Peter apologized to Sally for his innocent behaviour with Cecile. Cass agreed to consider publishing Julia's novel. Peter's sister, Nicole, arrived on his doorstep. Mac and Rachel planned a double wedding with Sandy and Blaine. Cecile begged Mark to convince Rachel to visit her in jail. Ella Fitz reported to Larry that Jeanne is ill. Leo bought a warehouse to convert into a nightclub.

JULY 11-15, 1983
Donna warned Perry to stay away from Nicole, and refused to see Cecile while she's a murder suspect. Julia fretted that Cass won't be able to publish her book since Felicia told the press Cass's business is in ruin. Convinced she's not a killer, Rachel paid Cecile's bail. Cecile admitted she stole Blaine's diary but insisted when she found Alma she was already dead. Quinn nixed Abel's suggestion that they be roommates. Jeanne returned and was hospitalized with blood poisoning.

JULY 18-22, 1983
Nicole denied she used drugs when Donna became suspicious of Nicole's mood changes. Stacey lent Cass money but warned him to lay off Mark. Larry checked out Jeanne's story that she scratched herself on a hook. Henrietta told Roy she's not interested in marriage, then accepted Leo's invitation to attend his Chicago nightclub closing. Julia worked with Cass's new editor, Bert Keller. Cecile remembered Alma muttering something unintelligible right before she died.

JULY 25-29, 1983
Sally told Peter she suspects Nicole is snorting cocaine. Liz warned Julia to be wary of Cass. Cecile sold her jewellery and bought a one-way airplane ticket. Mark and Larry searched for Cecile to tell her she had been cleared of Alma's murder. Jeanne admitted that Alma had stabbed herself and scratched Jeanne while chasing her around with a knife. Sandy suspected the person who broke into the Brava offices was after Mark's corruption articles.

AUGUST 1-5, 1983
Mac and Rachel and Sandy and Blaine were married in a double ceremony. Jamie's return surprised both Rachel and Stacey. Cecile recovered from a minor car accident, then learned she was cleared. Donna offered Cecile big bucks to split up Peter and Sally. Felicia threw a tantrum to learn Julia's written a romance novel. Clarice reconciled with Larry. Two thugs stalked Mark, who narrowly escaped their attempts to kill him. Mark suspected Zack was behind the attacks. Horace agreed to help Mark find the culprits.

AUGUST 8-12, 1983
Jeanne died after revealing to Larry and Blaine that they have a younger half-brother. Felicia took a waitress job at Smiley's Diner as research for a rags-to-riches novel. Cass pressured Julia to begin writing a second romance novel. Sally asked Jamie to help Nicole kick her drug habit. Donna slapped Nicole during a spat. After Horace was found dead, Mark convinced Stacey and Jamie to pretend they're an item again. Quinn rebuffed Abel's kisses. Horace's secretary remembered he made several secret phone calls the day he died.

AUGUST 15-19, 1983
Donna questioned Dr. Royal Dunning, whom she suspected had delivered Sally's illegitimate baby. Unaware of her real identity, Jamie counselled Nicole to get off drugs. Nicole's agent and drug pusher, Whit, pressured her to return to modelling. Leo hired Lily to work at his club, The Warehouse. To elude a mystery man who's tailing her, Stacey spent a platonic night at Jamie's pad. Mark learned that before he died, Horace had phoned Zack. Larry suspected a fake secretary, Miss Rose, had killed Horace.

AUGUST 22-26, 1983
Sandy and Blaine brought Maggie back from Paris. Gil was upset Cass is working Julia to the bone. Nicole flirted with Jamie, who insisted he can't be interested in her while she's on drugs. Nicole was upset to learn Jamie is dating Stacey, who had a dizzy spell. Donna schemed to interest Peter in Cecile. Felicia's waitress cover was blown by the press. Jamie failed to capture Miss Rose, who had staked out Stacey's home. Liz gave Larry a description of Miss Rose, who had come to the Cory offices looking for Mark. Julia was curious that Gil refused to let anyone photograph him.

AUGUST 29 - SEPTEMBER 2, 1983
Jamie warned Nicole she can't beat her drug habit by herself. Donna pressured private eye Barrows to find Sally's child. Cecile bragged she can take Peter away from Sally. Vivien unwittingly tipped Miss Rose's boss, Jeremiah Denby, that Mark had left town on a ship. Blaine fretted over Sandy, who went to Washington to get information on Zack and the people who are after Mark. Felicia admitted she regrets giving up her romance with Gil, who was upset that Julia spends too much time on her novel. Quinn and Abel reconciled after a romantic tiff. Quinn told Leo she thinks of him as a friend. Felicia hired a weirdo secretary, Ms. Devon.

SEPTEMBER 5-9, 1983
Cecile realized she still has feelings for Cass. Gil was upset to see Cass out on the town with Julia. Jamie refused to help Felicia research cocaine use for her next novel. Royal refused to tell Sally who has her baby. Abel rejected Leo's offer to hold a concert to benefit Abel's clinic. Posing as a Brava photographer, Larry joined Sandy in Washington. Jeremiah and Zack had Sandy tailed.

SEPTEMBER 12-16, 1983
Cass caught on that Cecile is after Peter. Royal's friend, David Thatcher, admitted his wife, Jennifer, would be lost without their child. Rachel befriended Sally, who had nightmares about having given up a baby. Mac reluctantly agreed Cecile could do freelance work for Sally. Roy left on a trip to Europe after catching Henrietta loving it up with Leo. Larry and Sandy learned that Jeremiah had had Horace killed and Mark's cabin blown to bits.

SEPTEMBER 19-23, 1983
Against Mac's advice, Blaine went to Washington to tell Sandy that she's pregnant. Mac went on a trip to Japan. Julia gave Felicia a copy of her romance novel. Sandy found Zack, who had been murdered. Royal assured David that Jennifer will never learn that Kevin isn't her real son. At Whit's request, Nicole agreed to model for Felicia's diet book. Ted Bancroft, who was released from the mental hospital, arrived to photograph the book. Janet met with Mark and later lied to Sandy that she never met Jeremiah.

SEPTEMBER 26-30, 1983
Royal begged Sally not to tell Peter about her baby. Stacey told Rachel that she really loves Jamie. Barrows photographed Royal's file on Sally. Julia was upset that Cass hasn't paid her any royalties on her book. Cecile rebuffed Cass's romantic advances. Sandy disbelieved the official report that Zack died of a heart attack. Jeremiah ordered Janet back to Washington, while they both tried to blame Zack for the attempts on Mark's life. Ted approved that Brian's dating Donna.

OCTOBER 3-7, 1983
Donna confronted Sally, who admitted she had given up her son. Donna then told Sally that David and Jennifer have her son, Kevin. Nicole snorted more cocaine while Perry urged her to fight for Jamie. Cecile failed to seduce Peter. In hopes that Janet will lead him to her boss, Mark lied that he no longer loves Stacey. Janet tried to persuade Jeremiah that he shouldn't have Mark killed. Gil flipped when he found out that Julia is letting Cass run her life.

OCTOBER 10-14, 1983
Cecile went to France to reconcile with her father, Louis, who is dying. Peter and Sally postponed their wedding, then Peter warned Donna not to hassle Sally. Felicia stole Julia's thunder at a press conference. Cass threatened a lawsuit when Felicia refused to dissolve their business partnership. After a quarrel with Gil, Perry quit his job at Frame-Harding Construction and took a job cooking at Smiley's Diner.

OCTOBER 17-21, 1983
Blaine urged Larry to step up the search for their half-brother, Catlin. Clarice fretted over Larry and herself being deep in debt. Donna hired Barrows to break into Royal's office. Elena and Cecile kept a vigil over Louis. Liz fretted that Julia can't handle her success. Mark tricked Janet into believing he'll return to politics. Jeremiah warned that Mark will be killed if Janet can't persuade him to join forces with them. Royal assured Jennifer that David's not having an affair. David was upset that Jennifer spent more time in Bay City.

OCTOBER 24-28, 1983
Cass fretted that Julia might not be able to produce a second novel. In a blue funk over Jamie, Nicole snorted more cocaine. Because of her dreaded fear of being behind bars, Cecile never got to see Louis before he died. Felicia panned Julia's chapters for her new book. Sally warned Donna to keep her mouth shut about Kevin. Janet overheard Mark tell Stacey that his charade of loving Janet will soon be over. Jeremiah secretly slipped into Bay City. Larry and Sandy received taped conversations between Jeremiah and Horace.

OCTOBER 31 - NOVEMBER 4, 1983
In an attempt to escape from the police, Jeremiah took Mark and Janet hostage. But Larry and Sandy later shot and killed Jeremiah. Guilty over her love for Jamie, Stacey hovered over a critically wounded Mark, who was shot by Jeremiah. At Donna's dinner party, Sally came face to face with David, the man who fathered her illegitimate son. Leaving Elena behind, Cecile returned from Paris. Sally realized David lied that Kevin is Jennifer's son. Ted panicked when Perry asked him to score cocaine for him. Janet became mentally unglued after being put in jail.

NOVEMBER 7-11, 1983
Blaine and Sandy went to Wyoming to look for Catlin. David warned Sally that Donna will reveal that Kevin is his and Sally's natural son if Sally tries to marry Peter. Stacey told Mark that she's carrying his baby. Maisie has a crush on Larry. Cecile threatened to blow the whistle on Donna if she doesn't get her payoff soon. David insisted to Sally that he hadn't known that Royal had switched Kevin for Jennifer's baby. Arguing her own defense, Lily came up against the new D.A., Adam Banks.

NOVEMBER 14-18, 1983
Mark pressured Stacey to marry him in the hospital. Jamie objected that Stacey may marry Mark just because she's pregnant. To protect Nicole, Jamie and Felicia kept mum about the cocaine incident when Mac ordered them to rehire Ted. Sally and Peter made new wedding plans. Jennifer split town with Kevin after hearing the story of Sally and David's past. Abel was upset to see Leo coming on to Quinn. Adam dropped the prostitution charges against Lily. Quinn was intrigued by Adam.

NOVEMBER 21-25, 1983
After Donna spilled the beans, Sally admitted to Peter that she once had an affair with David. Mark asked Jamie to be his best man when he weds Stacey. Sally got Cecile a job at Cory Publishing. Blaine suspected that Catlin may have returned to Claxton when she learned someone had been asking for her mother, Jeanne. Sally helped David search for Jennifer, whom she fretted might harm Kevin. Jennifer and Kevin stayed with her friends Lucy and Lester Ford, who noticed Jennifer's weird behavior. Gil was upset that his mother, Marie, waitressed at Smiley's Diner.

NOVEMBER 28 - DECEMBER 2, 1983
Felicia urged Nicole, who snorted more cocaine, to get professional help. Sally confessed to Peter that Kevin is her and David's son. At Donna's request, Cecile moved in to comfort Peter. Jamie and Stacey talked about getting married, while Mark urged her to marry him before he has some needed surgery. Clarice fretted that Larry is spending too much money. A drunken Jennifer died in an auto accident while driving on a snow-packed road. Kevin blamed Sally and David for the accident. Jamie vowed to prove that Ted is supplying Nicole with coke.

DECEMBER 5-9, 1983
Stacey married Mark, who underwent successful surgery after the ceremony. Upset over Stacey, Jamie slept with Nicole, who later accused him of using her to soften the blow of Stacey's marriage. Jamie fumed that Amanda nearly got a hold of some cocaine that Ted left for Nicole. Peter broke off his engagement to Sally because of her lies about her past. Sally freaked out to find Cecile at Peter's pad when she tried to make up with him. Cecile played hard to get with Peter, insisting that he isn't over Sally.

DECEMBER 12-16, 1983
Ted planted cocaine on Jamie, who was arrested when Ted tipped off the cops. David and Cass schemed to sell short-term stock investments in companies that Mac is going to buy. Donna fumed when Cecile tore up the cheque she gave her to split up Peter and Sally, then insisted that she wants Peter, not the money. Sally was upset that David is moving to Bay City. Cecile has a tape recording of Donna's plot against Sally. Lily learned that Abel lied that he's engaged to Quinn.

DECEMBER 19-23, 1983
Felicia threw a party for her secret lover from France, who turned out to be Donna's ex-husband and Perry's father, Carl Hutchins. Carl warned Donna to stay away from Felicia or he'd reveal their past marital problems. Blaine received a letter from her half-brother that said he'd seek her out when he's ready to meet her. Jamie reluctantly accepted Stacey as his lawyer. Nicole told Stacey that she's sleeping with Jamie. Sally was upset that David bought a house near her. Felicia teamed up with Perry, who bought coke from Ted, hoping to expose him as a drug dealer.

Sally accepted a date with David. Donna asked Carl to let Perry get close to him. Nicole got a call from her sister Marley who's in London. Carl accused Donna of never having given him a chance to be a good husband to her. Mac suspected that Carl is in town for reasons other than to be with Felicia. Cass kept mum to David that Cecile is their pipeline to Mac's business deals. Peter pined for Cecile, who's in Paris with her mother, Elena. Henrietta received a big-bucks offer to sell her frozen-pie business. Felicia and Jamie had Perry make another coke buy from Ted after failing to plant a stash of cocaine on Ted. Rachel was upset that Mac was arguing with Jamie, who refused to tell Mac why he hates Ted. Abel and Quinn reconciled. Donna smoothed things over with Brian, who learned that she broke up Sally and Peter. Brian noticed that Ted's behaving strangely.
