Learning and studying in the best way
For some years, there has been an ever growing body of research evidence suggesting that we do not learn in the same way. While this common sense approach to scholarship represents a welcomed message for parents and students, numerous classroom teachers continue to teach a large number of their students in the same way, often using a teaching style that has proven to be successful for the teacher but not for all of their students.
This is incorrect teaching -- proof that common sense in the classroom is not all that common!
This chart may help you determine your learning style.
Learning styles in the classroom
Many children are unique in their personalities, cultural experiences and values. Often, they prefer different learning environments and learning modalities. As well, many others exhibit unique strengths, talents and weaknesses.
