Consider your pathway both for the sewage drain and plumbing before installing your toilet.

Install the toilet drain so it is positioned 12" or 30 cm from the wall. This is to allow the toilet seat to stay up. Installing it a shorter distance will cause the seat to always come down.

Use 3" or 7.5 cm ABS piping for the toilet drain.
