affirms to assist each rugby athlete to achieve their full potential; to maintain the

About our Club...
The Indians train and play in the
city of Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. This is the 38th Anniversary of the Club and
we're growing and expanding like nothing else! The Indians run
Men's,
U-18's and
Old Boys teams and are a
member of the
Eastern Ontario Rugby
Union. Just as important, we have 2
Women's sides to
keep the boys in line and out of trouble! They play in Division II of the
Quebec Rugby Union and the E.O.R.U
"Russell" League. The Indians are also one of the four "owner"
clubs of
Twin Elm Rugby Park, one of the top privately owned Rugby
facilities in North America.
The Indians are a very active club with a year-round schedule of training, tours,
tournaments and
social events. The highlight of our year is
the
Indian's Summer Rugby Tournament held each year in
July. The 22nd Annual Tournament is going to be a great success, flip over and see
what is going on this year!
Our Junior Men's team plays other E.O.R.U clubs teams in the early
summer. We are very active in promoting rugby in the local Ottawa high schools, with many
of our coaches and players helping out at such schools as South Carleton, A.Y. Jackson,
Holy Trinity and Earl of March, among others.
Touring Sides - Come on over!
- The club is always anxious to play touring sides. Even though we have a short junior
season as well as various other commitments, we try to accept one or two junior sides a
year. We never seem to have enough of the senior sides however, and we are quite willing
to host and show our guests a great time.
- Ottawa and Eastern Ontario is a great place to visit in the summer with some great
sights including Parliament Hill, the
Rideau Canal and the Hull Casino.
- If you are interested in coming to visit, drop us a line, we can give you some
great games and a memorable touring experience as well.
Please feel free to visit every page of this site, the pictures are for all to enjoy!
