The Ottawa Indians R.F.C is offering an outstanding team of coaches for our junior program in 2001.

• Fred McCrossan

  Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Fred played on Ulster Schools teams and for the Balymena R.F.C. A provincial level player in both B.C and Ontario, Fred now focuses on coaching. He has recently coached at Carleton University, and was the coach of the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union U-18 team that won the Gold Medal at the 2001 Ontario Summer Games in Ajax, Ontario. This same team is also the Ontario Provincial Champions. Fred will be specializing in backs coaching. He also coaches at Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Kanata.

• Dave Naylor

  Born in Scotland, Dave has also played on many representative sides in addition to playing with Hawick R.F.C in the Scottish Premier Division. Dave will also bring his high level coaching and refereeing skills to our junior forwards to help develop their skills.

• Wayne Desormeaux

  Wayne is one of the anchors of the Ottawa Indians R.F.C. In 1998, Wayne received a Special Award of Merit for his 35 years of dedication to the Club. Wayne has held, at one time or another, almost every position, from player to President, in the Club. Wayne's vast experience will be put to use in assisting David with the forwards. Wayne has also coached for many years at local high schools, most recently at South Carleton.
