The ORU Competitive Schedule Sub-committee/Board of Directors recently announced significant changes to the structure of men's rugby in Ontario. The Indians 1st's play in the Bardon Division, competing against the Bytown Blues, Kingston, the Beavers, the Irish and the Scottish.

• Double round-robin home and away format.
• At the end of the regular season, pools will be created and round-robin formats will determine participation in Cup playoffs.
  

The Indians endured tough games this year, ending up in 4th place behind the Blues, Irish and the Scottish. It was challenging competition with other Ottawa area teams and we can ensure tough play and outstanding entertainment in the upcoming playoffs.

Coach's Corner

As in the past, the Indians will be running 3 teams. Men's 1st's in the new Bardon Division, the Men's 2nd's will be the E.O.R.U Division 1 and the 3rd's will find their home in E.O.R.U Division 2.

With the return of key university players and a few travelling imports for the upcoming 2001 season, as well as welcoming back Coaches Tim Carroll and Fred McCrossan, the team is looking forward to overall performance improvement and expanding their style of play.
