Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was 10 years old and my father gave me my first camera. It was a black box Kodak camera which I still have.
In those days, there were only black and white pictures and it's amazing that here we are over 55 years later and now, black and white photos have become extremely popular.
There is just something about viewing photos other than how the eye sees them that captures your imagination. Is she wearing a red dress or a blue one? I wonder what color his hair is? There is a mystique with black and white photos that is definitely missing from those taken of their natural color.
On the other hand, there is nothing as breathtaking as a photo in vivid color. Nothing is left to the imagination and what you see before you is nature's beauty at its best.
